RECOMMENDED: Full coverage of the New York International Fringe Festival
We won't pile on to the predictable prebacklash to the New York International Fringe Festival. We're heard it all before. Heck, we've said it all before: The Fringe is not curated with any meaningful criteria; it makes Off-Off Broadway look bad; and each year it seems to get worse. The best anyone can do is sort through mounds of postcards or surf the Web and make an educated guess as to what might, possibly, be worth seeing. Plus, good pictures never hurt. Here are 30 entries out of the Fringe's 200 that look promising. We hope.
