PHENOMENAL PHENOMENAL SHOW! I went last month to the Duplex and was absolutely blown away by John's performance. I have never seen anything quite like this show. It is mind boggling how well John is able to play multiple characters without ever taking a pause or break in the action. Every mannerism, every nuance, every moment is just so perfectly crafted. John is a Fearless actor of the highest order. It is inspiring to see how real, honest and authentic this guy is on stage. I plan to see "Not as Cute as Picture" several more times and invite the entire world along with me!! People need to see this show! It is truly... AMAZING!!

I'd seen Cerna act before, so I expected him to be good. HE BLEW ME AWAY! I'd read some of his stuff, and I knew I'd like the show. IT AMAZED ME! Spectacular non-stop energy. Fantastically drawn and presented characters. DO NOT MISS IT! I'm going again, and bringing lots of others.

J.D. Cerna's show "Not as Cute as Picture" took me back to a time I wasn't certain I cared to revisit, but the spectrum of characters he so compelling inhabits are irresistible. Hilarious and heartwrenching: miss it at your peril. PLUS, he's adorable.

Not as Cute As Picture is smart and funny and inspiring. And totally entertaining. Cerna's characters are so three-dimensional, and he inhabits them so totally, that I almost forgot there's only one person on stage. .
