I saw this show last week and was pleasantly surprised to read about it in TimeOut! Such a fun evening. I haven't had this much fun seeing a play in a long time, so to see multiple excellent short plays, all in one night, and to have my pick of which ones to watch, I loved it. I'm hoping to go back to watch the plays I didn't see the first round.

I went to this Sunday night, and it was tons of fun. I'm not a frequent theater goer, but this experience was really cool. There are a bunch of different scripted plays happening simultaneously in different parts of the bar, all about two people on a date.

You choose which ones you want to watch. Some were touching. Others were hysterical. Excellent writing. Great actors. Perfect setting. I can't wait to go back and see the plays I missed!

I recommend seeing it soon because it will probably sell out fast once more people know about it. Remember that time you wanted to go to the MoMA Rain Room... Don't wait.

I went to this event in previews last week, and it was tons of fun! I've never seen a piece of theater quite like it. Lots of different short plays to choose from, and you feel like you're just watching people's dates, but it's all scripted. Heartwarming, hysterical, and lots of fun. You can just get a drink at the bar and wander around to choose what you want to watch. I highly recommend it. I think the website is www.playdateny.com

If you want to hang with your friends, drink a cocktail, enjoy a super rad deejay, AND become completely immersed in raw, real, upfront theater -- you should stop reading this and make your way to Play/Date IMMEDIATELY. The vibe is great, and the swirl of music, actors, screens, lights all play together perfectly. There's always something to watch and experience, and everything is completely relatable. Get there now! http://www.playdateny.com/
