The Tony Awards 2016 guide

All of Broadway has its eyes on the Tony Awards 2016 nominees, wondering which musicals, plays and revivals will win

When theater fans look back at the Tony Awards, 2016 may well look like the year of Hamilton. Still, there's more going on at the Tony Awards, when Broadway shows are recognized for outstanding actors, the hottest chorus boys and girls, brilliant musical numbers, stellar direction and everything else that makes the Great White Way so great. In fact, the 2015-16 season was so strong and diverse—two Arthur Miller plays directed by Ivo van Hove, for Pete's sake—we were moved to dub our time a new Golden Age on Broadway. With this ultimate guide to Tony Awards 2016, you can revisit every stellar moment from the Broadway season, and get prepped to watch the awards broadcast on June 12.
