If you've been looking to add a cat into your household, we've got good news: The ASPCA is partnering with Brooklyn's One Love Animal Hospital for a special adoption event this weekend. The ASPCA helped rescue 30 cats from the home of a hoarder after Hurricane Sandy; after a couple months of rehab, the kitties are ready for adoption. Head to One Love (317 Atlantic Ave between Hoyt and Smith Sts, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn; aspca.org/onelove; Feb 9, 10 noon–5pm) on Saturday or Sunday if you'd like to take one of the cute critters home. Adoption fees will be waived for the event, but you must bring ID, proof of address and one reference.
There is a chance that this weekend's snowstorm will affect the event; the ASPCA will post updates on their website, so keep an eye out for updates over the next couple of days. In the meantime, check out five of the ridiculously cute cats who will be up for adoption during the event.
