AKC Meet the Breeds

Learn to distinguish a Maine Coon from an American Curl, and differentiate among Scottish, Irish and Welsh terriers at the fourth annual AKC Meet the Breeds. This animal lover’s expo will bring more than 200 canine and feline breeds to the West Side. Browse booths dedicated to the history and characteristics of each pedigree, and shop for moose-antler dog chews and other pets treats. We’ll be staking out prime viewing spots for the live demonstrations, which include a feline fashion show, Beefy the Skateboarding Bulldog (!) and the Infurno Flyball Dogs, who relay-race by jumping over hurdles to retrieve a tennis ball.
