The former Dresden Doll, Kickstarter maven, Daily Mail–baiter and, ah yes, musician and performer (that really should have come first, apologies) plays a free show at Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center on Friday, August 9 as part of the Out of Doors series and as a kickoff to Gemini & Scorpio's 10th Anniversary celebrations ("10th anniversary celebrations" sounds so formal; three-day bender would be more accurate).
Can't make it? Fear not (and do something about your fear issues, you really shouldn't be afraid if you're going to miss a gig), for Lincoln Center has started live-streaming shows, and we've embedded the player below. Tune in from approximately 8:30pm until the concert ends at 10pm, and see what viewers are saying on Twitter over there on the right-hand side of the screen with our funky widget that collates tweets with the hashtag #LCStream or #GS10th.
In the meantime, read this week's interview with Amanda Palmer on her aspirations, art and adulation, look back on ten years of Gemini & Scorpio in pictures, check out the full schedule for G&S's weekender or watch Palmer's artful response to the Daily Mail's hysterical coverage of her Glastonbury show (below). Without wanting to spoil too much, it's NSFW.
