“I had a friend visiting, and it took us about 40 minutes to walk four blocks in Times Square. After that—he was ecstatic—he wanted to go to Rockefeller Center, and I was like, ‘No, we’re getting a drink.’ There are places that are really unusual where I live, Bushwick, Brooklyn. Gotham City Lounge is the like divey-est place you’ll ever see. It’s a comic-book-themed bar with a pool table and an arcade machine, and I think it’s $3 for a beer and a shot.”
Costa is the cofounder of the fashion line NotEqual.
