AC Dreamin' 3D Light Show

AC Dreamin’ invites visitors to navigate six different magical worlds: a mysterious train station, a luxurious hotel, a crazy theme park, a surreal lighthouse, a dreamy underwater world, and the fantastic Boardwalk at night. Viewers follow a magical dream shared by two friends in a modern fairy tale. For the first time in the Boardwalk Hall project, Moment Factory used live-action footage with actors performing in a narrative linking the show to the spirit of the city. Thanks to the show’s 3D mapping and innovative storytelling, tourists and residents will experience some of Atlantic City’s iconic public spaces in a completely new way. Miss America Pageant

Miss America’s return to her home in Atlantic City, New Jersey will be a 13 day event following Labor Day weekend and will include three nights of Preliminary Competitions that will take place on September 10, 11 and 12 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall. This historic return to Atlantic City will be a monumental event complete with the much anticipated Miss America "Show Us Your Shoes Parade" that will be held on the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk on Saturday, September 14. "Boardwalk Beat" 3-D Light Show

Music through the decades will be the focus of the third installment of the spectacular, free, 3D sound and light show on Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall. Created by Moment Factory, a Montreal-based new media and entertainment studio, the show illustrates the eras and styles of music ingrained in our collective memories. The free outdoor show runs every half hour nightly. Moment Factory will use projections, sound, theatrical lighting and architectural video-mapping technology to transform the façade of Boardwalk Hall into a magnificent and magical jukebox time machine. The show will take viewers on a fascinating journey of memories, allowing them to recall special moments in music history and their own personal experience, all while dancing to the beat. Phillies vs. Mets Viewing Party

A massive movie screen will be set up on the beach to allow fans to watch the Phils play the New York Mets at 1pm. World Championship of Sand Sculpting

For the first time ever the World Championship of Sand Sculpting will be hosted in the birthplace of sand sculpting: Atlantic City. At this free, public event, visitors are invited to watch as solos and doubles create sand sculptures in head-to-head contests on the beach at Missouri Avenue between The Pier Shops at Caesars and Trump Plaza. AC native and world-renowned sand sculptor John Gowdy will co-produce the event. Click here for more information

Diana Ross at Borgata

Diana Ross is an iconic American vocalist, music artist and actress. Ross first rose to fame as a founding member and lead singer of the Motown group The Supremes during the 1960s. After leaving the group in 1970, Ross began a solo career that has included successful ventures into film and Broadway. She received a Best Actress Academy Award nomination for her role as Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues (1972), for which she won a Golden Globe award for most promising female newcomer. She has won seven American Music Awards, and won a Special Tony Award for her one-woman show, An Evening with Diana Ross, in 1977. Click here for more information

Atlantic City Salutes America's Armed Forces Parade

Now in its third year, the Armed Forces Parade is held in conjunction with the Airshow and is a stirring tribute. Nearly 150 units participate in the parade along with motorcycles, floats, beauty queens and high school bands. Click here for more information

Atlantic City Offshore Grand Prix

Powerboats will race on a six-mile course not far from the beach. Free and open to the public, spectators will see 50-foot powerboats racing at 150 mph. The course will begin and end at the Frank S. Farley State Marina at Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. Click here for more information
