Sherlockians can get schooled on Victorian-era self-defense at this workshop led by professor Mark P. Donnelly. This amalgam of Eastern and Western boxing techniques helped Sherlock Holmes defeat foes and could potentially be useful clearing a path along Manhattan's overcrowded sidewalks. You won’t have to sacrifice fashion, either—the course includes instruction on how to use walking sticks, parasols and other accessories against a would-be assailant.
