Summer-concert season is just around the corner—keep an eye out for our annual Summer Concerts issue, which drops May 16—and by now most, if not all, of our favorite seasonal series have announced their lineups. The latest to announce its schedule will take place at the Prospect Park Bandshell: Celebrate Brooklyn!, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The schedule for the season is delightfully weird, with lots of eclectic artists represented. A sampling:
June 5: Patty Griffin (opening-night show)
June 18: The Roots & Jim James (benefit show)
June 20: Big Boi
July 13: Dracula with the Philip Glass Ensemble + Kishi Bashi
July 20: The Lone Bellow
Aug 10: They Might Be Giants
And that's just a small smattering—you can check out the full lineup on the Celebrate Brooklyn! website. And once again, the venue will serve food from Farm on Adderley and the Good Batch, and Etsy artists will sell their wares on site.
