The seventh annual New York Dance Parade got booties shaking over the weekend. Saturday’s gray sky was no match for the brightly colored skirts and feathered headdresses worn at the New York Dance Parade. Hundreds of people shimmied their way down Broadway, showcasing styles ranging from Korean folkloric to Mexican zapateado. The fancy footwork continued at DanceFest in Tompkins Square Park. The Great GoogaMooga officially canceled for Sunday

Inclement weather forced the fest's organizers to pull the plug on GoogaMooga's final day. This just in: The final day of the Great GoogaMooga has been canceled, due to the crummy weather currently bearing down on New York City. The fest's organizers will offer all VIP ticket holders refunds, according to its Twitter feed. NYC Parks Dept, Prospect Park Alliance & #Googamooga have canceled today's event in the interest of safety & prevention of damage to park— Great GoogaMooga (@GoogaMooga) May 19, 2013
