“Sitting around, smoking marijuana, eating Cheetos and masturbating do not constitute plans." Walter White couldn't have said it better: Instead of lamenting the end of the excellent Breaking Bad from your couch, change out of your PJs and check out one of these cool events celebrating the AMC meth drama's close—including talks featuring series creator Vince Gilligan and Heisenberg himself, Bryan Cranston.
The climactic final eight episodes of season five will premiere August 11; check out a teaser video featuring a terrified-looking Walt below. Is he no longer the one who knocks?
Diehards of the epic TV show won't wanna miss this star-studded two-night panel, where series creator Vince Gilligan will answer questions with his venerable actors. On hand to screen and chat about their fave episodes will be the entire White family (Bryan Cranston, Anna Gun and RJ Mitte) plus Betsy Brandt (Marie Schrader) and Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman). If you can't make it to the Walter Reade Theater in person, live-stream the event event through Film Society and watch it post-partum via AMC.

Watch the much-anticipated premiere on Sunday, August 11 at 9pm with other Bad-heads at Pine Box Rock Shop. There will be Breaking Bad trivia, and bartenders will concoct themed boozies: Blue Sky cocktails ($4) and test-tube shots ($3). The Bushwick watering hole will show every episode of the final season on its 96-inch screen to ensure you don't miss any of Walt's desperate machinations.

Williamsburg cocktail joint the Exley throws a premiere bash, but show up before the 9pm screening for free dinner. There will be gratis BBQ beginning at 7pm, plus blue boozies ($8) and corn hole to help pass the time until the show returns at last. The bar promises its bartender "is Walter White"—we're not quite sure what that means, but there's only one way to find out.
