There are a lot of descriptors you can ascribe to theater in New York—plentiful, world-class, freakin' amazing—but cheap generally isn’t one. That’s why Broadway Week and its wacky cousin, Off-Broadway Week, are the equivalent of a very late (or very, very early) Christmas for stage lovers who are as cash-strapped as a certain flame-haired orphan. You can nab two-for-one tickets to any of 19 Broadway shows through February 7, and to 37 Off Broadway offerings through February 10. Click here and here for full lists of the plays and musicals on offer. To whet your appetite, we’ve linked to reviews of a few of our critics’ recent faves below.

Broadway:
Annie
Newsies
Picnic
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Off Broadway:
Bethany
Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking
My Name Is Asher Lev
Water by the Spoonful
