Affordable one-stop-shopping aficionados, take note: Target is renting out not one but two spaces in Chelsea. The Minneapolis-based company's creative and marketing offices will soon set up on West 25th Street between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues—but more importantly, the lease includes a 5,000-square-foot retail space.
But don't get too excited yet; this doesn't necessarily mean a new Target store is coming to the neighborhood. Instead, the new territory will be for conceptual retail, serving as an exhibition and event space.
In other Target news, the mega-retailer unveiled its new 3.1 Phillip Lim collection two nights ago; TONY fashion scribe Elizabeth Denton was on the scene, and you can check out a preview of the collection through her Instagram here, here and here.
