Cupid's Undie Run 2013 (slide show)
Do-gooders reenacted their frat-pledging days by stripping down to their drawers for a freezing charity race.
Tue Feb 19 2013
Anyone who has taken part in the Coney Island Polar Bear Club's annual New Year's Day swim will be familiar with what you're about to see: A costumed, seminude and oddly euphoric crowd risking pneumonia to help sick kids. As temperatures dipped into the low thirties on February 16, Cupid's Undie Run participants covered themselves in pink hearts (and not much else) and hightailed up the West Side Highway. The one-mile dash, which finished at the Brass Monkey bar, raised $86,712 for the Children's Tumor Foundation; shout-out to the top fund-raising teams, including No Pants Ever and Who Let the Draws Out?
