A new Twitter feed is going hyper-local by handpicking New Yorkers to man its output. It's fittingly called @WeAreNewYorkers, and its anonymous founders pick a different Big Apple resident every week to curate and write its tweets Monday through Sunday via this simple application. Daily Mail reporter Meghan Keneally is currently at the helm of the 140-character broadcasts. Still in its budding stages, previous guest tweeters for the rotating account include students and editors.
Follow @WeAreNewYorkers for a different perspective into the city each week, and sign up to share your New York experience. We've got our own wish list of folks we'd like to see manning the account: Blue Ivy, Jenna Lyons, Bill de Blasio and a local taxi driver for starters.
