When Brooklyn arts organization and studio space 3rd Ward abruptly shut down in early October, creative souls lost a valuable resource—including Drink n' Draw, a popular weekly event in which patrons got a little tipsy while rendering a live nude model. But fear not, beer-loving artists; Bat Haus (279 Starr St between St. Nicholas and Wyckoff Aves, Bushwick, Brooklyn) is picking up the baton.
The congenial coworking spot, which recently launched classes too, announced it will be hosting the event on Wednesday nights from 8 through 10:30pm—starting this week on November 13. Like at 3rd Ward, it will be hosted by local artist Joel Morrison. Head over to Bat Haus's Tumblr page for more info, and don't forget to BYO art supplies.
