Dumbo is getting a Shake Shack under the Brookyn Bridge
A second Brooklyn outpost of Danny Meyer's überpopular burger chain will open near Grimaldi's in 2014.

Danny Meyer's wildly popular burger chain, Shake Shack, is coming to Dumbo at a primo location underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The new outpost is scheduled to open in mid-2014 at One Old Fulton Street—a spot that will afford patrons views of both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. (It'll also be just down the block from Grimaldi's—we're already envisioning a nightmare scenario in which competing lines for both eateries spill over into the street.)
A third Brooklyn location for the pedigreed burger joint is on its way; besides Dumbo, there will be a Shake Shack directly across the street from Barclays. The first Kings County stand, in Downtown Brooklyn, opened in 2011.
Shake Shack was recently named both a readers' choice and critics' pick in our guide to Gotham's ten best burgers; for even more meaty goodness, check out our full guide to the best burgers in New York City.
