Earls Court
The Olympics travel to West London for Volleyball
Wed Jul 11 2012
Earls Court
Warwick Rd, London, SW5 9TA
Usually associated with trade shows and concerts (this is where Pink Floyd built The Wall), the concrete Exhibition Centre has a strong Olympic past: it hosted the Boxing, Gymnastics, Weightlifting and Wrestling for the 1948 Games. Built in 1937, the building has a certain retro flair: its architect also designed 1920s movie palaces.

It will seat 15,000 for the London 2012 Olympic Games playing host to the Volleyball tournament.
