Looks like it's time for us to update our list of blights on the NYC skyline. H&M is planning not one but four massive signs above Times Square, according to The Wall Street Journal; each one will measure a gargantuan 70 feet by 70 feet. The atrocious illuminated panels will rise above 4 Times Square sometime this year.
The trendy Swedish behemoth's takeover is continuing on the ground, too; an H&M store—clocking in at 42,500 square feet—is coming to the base of that same building, and a new 57,000-square-foot flagship is also in the works at Fifth Avenue and 48th Street.
