Batsu is a Japanese variety-show genre whose name loosely translates as “penalty.” Members of improv group Face Off act as contestants in this live version, in which losers must undergo various Jackass-style punishments. It’s a really good place to find new ideas for how to prank your friends. Not that we encourage that sort of thing.

I have gone to see Batsu multiple times and every time I bring someone new with me who has not seen it; I want to share it with other people because I enjoy it so much. I still have a a fabulous time every time I go. the comedians are fantastic and personable as well after the show you can usually stay and chat with them too. I recommend this to anyone looking to have a good time, interact and and laugh!! Go SEE BATSU!
