The team behind Fort Greene's eclectic No. 7 is bringing its muscle to the Ace Hotel in the name of sandwiches. Chef Tyler Kord (Perry St) will be doing it right, with meticulously sourced veggies, cheeses, meats and more at the grab-and-go storefront. House-made breads, cookies and sodas (maple-cream!), meanwhile, are the territory of pastry chef Amanda Clarke.

15 W 56th St between Fifth and Sixth Aves (no phone yet)Though the details—including a name and opening date—are unknown, David Chang plans to open a French-Vietnamese restaurant this fall in the Chambers Hotel.
