The visitors' center at the Brooklyn Navy Yard hosts a special day of events commemorating both Fleet Week and the bicentennial of the War of 1812. Scheduled activities include the christening of a 14-foot rowboat, a bus tour of the historic Navy Yard ($30) and a blacksmithing demonstration.
