Food Book Fair.
Food lovers and bookworms unite for this three-day literary fest, featuring a pop-up shop of more than 150 books and magazines. Chefs and authors, including baker Emily Elsen (Four & Twenty Blackbirds) and Fung Tu toque Jonathan Wu, are slated for signings and panels, on topics like the ties between food and race and the Midwest's underrated culinary scene. Cheer on your favorite food writers as they battle with tasty excerpts in the book slam, or reserve a seat for To Kill a Mockingbird, a Southern-style dinner inspired by Harper Lee's enduring 1960 classic.
