Freeze Tag on Wall Street 2014

If you thought the de Blasio administration would usher in a golden age of whimsical urban recreation, think again. On January 12, for the ninth year in a row, Freeze Tag on Wall Street convened amid the city's financial institutions to play familiar school-yard games (Freeze Tag, Wolf Sheep Rock, Red Rover). Shortly after the start, however, the police arrived and asked the participants to leave. Luckily, the games were relocated to a nearby park without further interruption.
