Harlem’s historic community’s rich artistic heritage on full display during this 10-day live event series celebrating the people, arts, culture and entertainment of Harlem. The 49th annual event will run August 9-20.
Centered around the theme, "Be the Change. Hope. Joy. Love.," the celebration will also include a salute to Harlem luminaries, musical performances, virtual dance parties, livestreams and a 5K run. This year’s celebration will also commemorate the late Harry Belafonte, Tony Bennett, Miriam Makeba, Tito Puente and Tina Turner. Here's the full event rundown.
