Women use every major social-media outlet more than men—except for LinkedIn—according to several studies

Whether girls really run the world is a point of contention—but they definitely run social media. Women use pretty much every type of social media more frequently than men, according to research compiled by Finances Online using data from Pew, Nielsen and Burst Media. Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter and especially Pinterest all have more female users; the only exception is LinkedIn, which men use more often. What's more, ladies are way more likely to access these sites on their phones or tablets, they're also more likely to interact with brands via social media. Scroll down to take a look at an infographic with all the stats:
