Still looking for that elusive yet oh-so-satisfying summer read to bury yourself in? Check out Adelle Waldman's The Love Affairs of Nathaniel P., which we gave four out of five stars in our review. Plus, Mashable just announced the launch of virtual book club Mashable Reads, and guess what the first group reading selection is? Waldman's buzzy novel about the cocky Nate Piven's romantic entanglements.
The social book club—a staff initiative recently opened up to the online community—will go through one pick per month. Follow @mashlifestyle for updates, reminders and a recommended reading schedule (you can tweet any questions you may have to that handle with the hashtag #MashReads). Though you won't get monthly get-togethers with tea and cookies out of this book club, there's one major perk: Mashable will host a Twitter chat with Waldman herself on September 3.
