Kitty City at Flux Factory

For five weeks, schoolchildren ages 5 through 12 collaborated with artists and urban planners to build Kitty City. The 1,700-square-foot feline town was revealed to the public on June 1; to launch the installation, 30 shelter kittens were brought it to put the "meow-tropolis" to the test. The ribbon-cutting event doubled as an adoption drive, and we're pleased to report that almost all the cats went home with someone.
