Want to be an extra in a music video? You're in luck: Local heroes Titus Andronicus are looking for a few eager folks to be in a clip the band is shooting for "Still Life with Hot Deuce and Silver Platter," the second single from its latest record, Local Business. There are a few requirements, according to frontman Patrick Stickles, who tweeted the call eariier today: "all you have to do is rock out earnestly, just as you would while enjoying any of yr favorite music."
The shoot will happen somewhere in North Brooklyn on Sunday, February 17, and it'll go from about 2:30 to 9pm. Fans can expect "a real life Titus Andronicus live performance, in addition to much lip syncing." Interested parties should e-mail HotDeuceVideo@gmail.com for details.
For an idea of what the experience might be like, check out the band's video for "No Future Part Three: Escape from No Future" (off the brilliant 2010 album The Monitor) below; directed by Tom Scharpling, the clip shows the band playing to fans up and down New Jersey.
