Subject: LOST in NYC
There have to be a few Lost-themed events around the city where we can showcase our geekery and celebrate—or commiserate over—the last season. Love to see what the experts at Time Out New York can uncover!
Are you sure you want to be in public when your mind is blown by the island drama’s final season? If so, hit the Bell House on Tuesday 2 for a season six premiere party featuring the band Previously on Lost (149 7th St between Second and Third Aves, Gowanus, Brooklyn; 718-643-6510, thebellhouseny.com; 7pm, $7--$10). The first 100 people in the door will get leied (the Hawaiian flower necklace kind), and everyone gets an hour of free show-themed drinks. Sit or stand for the two-hour premiere episode showing on a giant screen, then cross your fingers during a raffle for a custom Flud watch. Hey, it’s not like you could be unluckier than the castaways.
Back on the only island weirder than the one on Lost, Upper West Side bar Firehouse will show the premiere on ten huge TVs (522 Columbus Ave at 85th St; 212-787-3473, firehousetavern.com). The event is free, but members of the New York Social Network (newyorksocialnetwork.com) will get additional drink specials—everyone else is just an Other.—Mary Wheeler and Allison Williams
