Lou Reed’s Berlin will screen on Saturday in Astoria
The Museum of the Moving Image is showing the documentary in tribute to the rock legend this weekend

The Museum of the Moving Image is screening the documentary Lou Reed's Berlin on Saturday in memory of the iconic musician, who passed away last weekend. The film captures the legendary artist performing his 1973 album/rock opera Berlin at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn in 2006, a standard-bearing set of performances over five days with a 30-piece band and 12 singers.
Lou Reed's Berlin will screen on Saturday, November 2, at 7:30pm at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria. Tickets ($12) are on sale now.
