Louis C.K. explains why cell phones are terrible (video)
The comedian goes off on the culture of cell phones and why his kids will never get one in this profoundly sad and funny clip.

In a stroke of perfect timing as folks are lining up for and brawling over the new iPhone, a video of Louis C.K. making a very strong case against cell phones has surfaced online. It's from his appearance on Conan last night, and it's kind of somber, kind of funny and totally candid. The comedian touches on parenting, texting and driving, fear of being alone and Bruce Springsteen, among other things.
Our favorite line? "You need to build an ability to just be yourself and not be doing something. That's what the phones are taking away, is the ability to just sit there. That's being a person." The whole diatribe is well worth watching.
