The rumors are true! Madonna will be introducing the two members of Pussy Riot playing the Amnesty benefit show on February 5. The Queen of Pop, who just helped Macklemore and Queen Latifah officiate 34 marriages at the Grammys, has previously shown support for the persecuted Russian punk-rock group by speaking out at concerts. Now, she'll taking the stage at Barclays along with formerly jailed musicians Maria Alekhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova.

"I am honored to introduce my fellow freedom fighters Masha and Nadya from Pussy Riot," said Madonna in a press release. "I have admired their courage and have long supported their commitment and the sacrifices they have made in the name of freedom of expression and human rights."

The two Russian activists are traveling to the U.S. as part of a campaign to improve prison conditions, and they're joining a star-studded lineup (the Flaming Lips, Lauryn Hill and more) for Amnesty International's Brooklyn show. The concert marks their first U.S. appearance.
