Mother Tongue: Monologues for Lesbian Ancestral Wives and Revolutionary Women Speaking the Unspeakable

Artists and activists come together for this night of performance and discussion focused on race, sexuality and gender identity—featuring poetry, dance and theater. Artist-activists Aishah Shahidah Simmons and Staceyann Chin will receive special recognition. Proceeds will help combat sexual assault in communities of African descent.
