Rumble on the River 2013

One of the best things about summer is the abundance of outdoor events, including films, parties, concerts and this annual fisticuffs bout. On August 1, Rumble on the River spectators gathered at Pier 84 to watch amateur Muay Thai fighters spar. The striking-focused martial-arts form is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it utilizes fists, elbows, knees and shins—making it eye-catching to watch and eye-watering to endure.
