“My husband, Mike, and I love trying new restaurants, but Bacchus (409 Atlantic Ave at Bond St, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn; 718-852-1572, bacchusbistro.com) is the one place we’ve gone back to a few times, and we always bring people when they’re visiting. It’s just cute and quaint, and [serves] really good French food.”

Brooklyn Bridge Park (Old Fulton St at Furman St, Dumbo, Brooklyn; 718-802-0603, brooklynbridgepark.org) is my favorite place to be. We’re there every weekend walking our dog, Baxter. Baxter is a year and a half; he’s a boxer. I’ll show you pictures because I am that guy.”

“Boozy brunch at Clover Club (210 Smith St between Baltic and Butler Sts, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn; 718-855-7939, cloverclubny.com) is awesome. My favorite drink there that, like, changed my life was a deconstructed Bloody Mary with tequila. It was like a caprese salad in a drink and they stopped serving it. I was so mad!”

Bar Great Harry (280 Smith St at Sackett St, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn; 718-222-1103, bargreatharry.com) is a great, divey bar that’s a good place to go after you’ve already had a few. They have a draft list that’s literally updated by the day. Right now I would get the Southern Tier Pumking ($7). It’s a fall beer—so drink it as long as you can, is what it really comes down to.”
