I’m born and raised New York, so I never did comedy clubs growing up. I feel like that’s something that out-of-towners do. I have no idea why that’s the case.”

The bacon there definitely stands out in my mind. It’s in a few of their dishes like the mac and cheese ($12) and the roasted-squash risotto, braised greens and pecorino ($21).”

Last time my girlfriend and I went, we played Scrabble and got our asses kicked. I remember the word that made us lose: chows, as in chows down on food. It was a triple-word and triple-letter score, so it was like 100 points.”
