Fridays, I’m usually drinking a Bulleit on the rocks with my roommates at the Crown Inn (724 Franklin Ave between Park and Sterling Pls, Crown Heights, Brooklyn; 347-915-1131, thecrowninnbrooklyn.com) because they have an outdoor smoking section in the back.

Saturdays, I’m usually shopping at AllSaints (locations vary, allsaints.com), American Apparel (locations vary, americanapparel.net) and sometimes Topman (478 Broadway at Broome St; 212-966-9555, topman.com). The styles are just grown-up enough to look nice in the office without looking like your boss.

  4. For a late-night thing, I like Taka Taka (330 West Broadway at Grand St; 212-966-8252, takataka.mx)—it’s like a Japanese Wonka factory. It has a conveyer belt with really good, cheap sushi and Mexican fusion stuff, and the staff is fantastic as well.

Sundays, I’m usually meditating or reading a book in Prospect Park (Prospect Park West to Flatbush Ave between Prospect Park Southwest and Ocean Ave; 718-965-8951, prospectpark.org) because it’s quiet, and finding a quiet place in New York is a task.
