  2. “I’m deejaying on Halloween at Monsters of Rap (Hammerstein Ballroom; 212-279-7740, mcstudios.com; Oct 31 at 8pm; from $64.95), but mainly I tour with Rahzel. We do shows called Man vs. Machine where we battle each other. I scratch with my foot or my elbows, and he duplicates it with his mouth.”

“I love to paint. We just did an event at the Graffiti Hall of Fame (E 106th St at Park Ave; facebook.com/grafhalloffame)—that’s the hall of fame from the ’70s and ’80s. The movie Wild Style, they did their 30th anniversary there. Over the years it’s changed but [my graffiti partner Topaz and I] still do events there and paint.”

“I like Sutra (16 First Ave between 1st and 2nd Sts; 212-677-9477, sutranyc.com) because my boy Tony Touch has a night there sometimes. He brings in a lot of the best DJs: Jazzy Jeff, Scratch, Cash Money, Premier, all the old-school hip-hop. I like to go see DJs that do the same thing as me.”

“I like to go to the park jams by Tools of War (twitter.com/toolsofwarjams), they’re weekly in the summer. They try to bring back the traditional essence of the hip-hop DJs, what DJ Kool Herc and DJ Flash used to do; they used to set up in the park and play for free. So they keep this tradition going, like in Crotona Park where they originally used do it back in the day, and the park on 135th and St. Nick.”
