Happy National Cat Day! (Oh yes, that's apparently a thing. Perhaps you should read our recap of the Internet Cat Video Film Festival to celebrate?) In honor of this momentous—and adorable—occasion, taxi-sharing app Uber has partnered with the ASPCA to deliver kittens to New Yorkers today. That's not a joke: Between 11am and 4pm, you can request one of Uber's special kitten cars and get 15 minutes of playtime with some very cute kitties.

There is, of course, a catch: Because kittens are awesome, Uber is expecting demand for the cars to be extremely high. (Bummer.) Each UberKittens ride is $20, and all of the proceeds will be donated to the New York City ASPCA—plus, the kittens are adoptable, so if you bond with one of the furry pals, you might be able to bring them into your home.

We're a little concerned for how the kittens will fare during all of this—they're babies, they get sleepy quickly, cats generally hate new people—but hey, it's for a good cause. Get more details on Uber's blog.
