What better way to combat a gray, dreary day than with…a literary discussion? Trust us, it works—especially when the discussion in question concerns Junot Díaz.
As with the Pulitzer-winning The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Díaz’s latest release, This Is How You Lose Her, strikes a compelling balance between worlds. The collection of linked short stories follows a reticent playboy, examining each of his influences and misdeeds in hopes of some kind of personal reconciliation. The author will talk about the book at the Strand tonight.
