How best to thaw out from the deep freeze that NYC still (still!) finds itself in? With a high-energy dance party, of course. Tonight's performance by Big Freedia at Brooklyn Bowl fits the bill nicely: The NOLA rapper is something of an unofficial ambassador for bounce, the NOLA hip-hop style so named for its high spirits and the frenzied ass-shaking it inspires on the dance floor. (Check out a clip of Freedia's best-known tune, "Azz Everywhere," to see what we mean; it's pretty much NSFW.)
