One thing to do Thursday: Hear Dante's Inferno in a cathedral
Indulge your yen for gothic horror with the 20th Annual Maundy Thursday Reading of Dante's Inferno at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine.
Thu Mar 28 2013
For the 20th consecutive year, the great Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine hosts this free late-night reading of Dante's epic poem of Hell and damnation. Those scheduled to read include the cathedral's poet-in-residence, Marilyn Nelson. It's worth the trip to hear grand verse ring out in the church at night.
