Christopher Durang's witty, Chekhov-inspired comedy graduated from Lincoln Center last year to open on Broadway, and we're delighted to spend another weekend in the country with these middle-aged sad sacks, whose trials in life and love strike an unexpectedly amusing but plangent chord. The wacky dramedy features a pair of juicy comic turns by David Hyde Pierce and Kristine Nielsen, with Sigourney Weaver costarring as their absurdly vain movie-star sister.
