One thing to do today: Catch video screenings and live music in Brooklyn

Production company Silver Sound hosts its fourth annual film fest and live-music competition.

Six groups—including Ula Ruth, Deb Oh and the Cavaliers, and Dear Denizen—duke it out battle-of-the-bands–style at production company Silver Sound's fourth annual film festival, showcasing more than 20 short clips. And there's an upside for the winners: The band crowned the victor will be paired with the winning director to make a music video. Fun! The shindig kicks off at 7:30pm at Brooklyn Bowl; tickets are $8.
