The Brooklyn Academy of Music kicks off its annual Eat, Drink and Be Literary series—a sort of informal chat with an author, preceded by dinner—with a visit from Martin Amis, who will discuss his latest novel, Lionel Asbo: State of England. We're hoping the recently transplanted Brooklynite will talk about his favorite things to do in the borough. (Does he shop at Trader Joe's? Will we run into him at Brooklyn Inn? How does he feel about the Barclays Center? So many questions!)
