Big news, pop pickers: The National has announced it will grace the Barclays Center's stage this June, a few month after lead man Bryce Dessner performs in the U.S. premiere of Planetarium (a song cycle he composed with Sufjan Stevens and Nico Muhly) at BAM March 21 through 24. Brooklyn's moody hometown heroes play their debut local arena show at Barclays Center, appearing for the first time since a string of sold-out Beacon Theatre shows more than a year ago. Tickets go on sale to the public at this Ticketmaster page on Friday, January 18, at 11am.
