This bikini is hot in more ways than one. Digital artist Andrew Schneider has retrofitted the skimpy two piece with photovoltaic strips and a USB connector. It can put out enough juice to charge an iPod. His work and other technological marvels like a projected image of Earth generated by spinning LEDs are part of “Interactive Youth,” an exhibit of work by recent grads of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, at Material ConneXion (127 W 25th St between Sixth and Seventh Aves, 212-842-2050) through Aug 17.
